Is this just one ongoing scene? If it is this is awesome because the music is telling the story, and without any dialect we get the sense of what's happening by their expressions only...It might not seem like much, but this type of film work is brilliant, and actually does a better job of telling the story than anywords ever could...especially in this situaiton, damn I miss the 80's
@malboro1979 It is one ongoing scene. As the title info says they used Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight as back ground music. The scene you see here is from the Miami Vice pilot episode. Many people, including me, think this scene is one of the best ever shot. :)
Such a powerfull song. I remember this in the 80s when we used to go out on a friday night for beer and fighting to the tunes. Made many friends that way. Best days of my fuckin life!!!
these are good tunes you've put in place, but I think the producers of Miami Vice went with the mellower Collins tune for this scene because the scene is supposed to be the "calm before the storm" , the shootout with Calderone........
That was sweet. Huge Miami Vice fan as well as Killing Joke. Good job!

este tema siempre me ha recordado a miami vice, y eso que nunca se uso en la serie, sin embargo no le queda nada mal la musica a la escena.

Killing Joke rule and of course Phil "whiner" Collins is a joke...a good replacement.

LOL! He did some great orginal or obscure tracks though. Indeed a GREAT replacement

Cool! I'm a MV fan and I also like Killing Joke. I also choose "Sanity" for this movieclip. :)
Funny though.. the pilot of MV was just 1 year ago. Killing joke was far ahead of it's time (1985)

Pilot, one year ago? Duh. It aired in '84.
