I dont get why ppl compare these to dumble amps. like 90% of them have even ever played out of one. this pedel feels and sounds like a dream. I have one and use it on almost everything. if you own a guitar you have to play out of one for just a day. youll be convinced. this thing rages. you can even set it for a nice clean. great playing btw ;)

How do you record your sounds? I've been trying to get a nice sound through a mic, but I always have to go back to direct inputs.

I meant to say I played it through either a Port City or a Fargen Mini Plex II. What is you fave dumble style pedal out of all of them? Maybe I should try Zen1? GAS here I come. I figured Zen1 wouldnt be as good as Zen2 because of the 12ax7, but you never know.... I also liked the Zendrive better than JGSR for higher gain settings. None of these pedals can make you sound like a dumble, but they do sound really good. I noticed you can play Ford/Cartlon tones and licks well. Its all in the hands.

I just got one because of your first vid. I guess its up there with my faves, but I like the Red Jetter better. The Zen2 is cool dont get me wrong. I play it with either a Port City Dual 50 head and Wave 212 cab along with a Hamer Newport Pro, and it sounds very similar to yourself. Do you have a Epi endorsement? I would have thought you would have a Grosh or something, but great playing. I love how calm and cool you remain. Your expression is priceless, but in a good way!

Awesome licks. Sounded a little like Frank Gambale there at 4:00 ;). Im personally looking for a good distortion pedal for a jazzy style of guitar playing. Does anyone know how this one sizes up to one of the earlier era Rat distortions? And how much sustain does it offer? Thanks, much appreciated.
