  • I got bored with the game eventually, but will always love the Merry-go-round music!

  • I used to play this, then I lost it. Then there was Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. But I STILL think Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 is better with the music and theme park recreations. I would always go to Six Flags Over Texas. Since I live in Texas.

  • @TheStormchaser12 What about roller coaster 1?

  • 1 person created Thrillville.

  • "Guest 849 is angry and can't find the exit!"

What do I do? I trap him in a 2x2 cement square and build a bathroom...that charges $100.00.

  • @omzzzzz Are you a wizard? You read my mind on how I would do it too :O

  • I love this song! well, this version that is....

  • i loved this game! i still do! i just wish chris sywire wouldn't be such a fat jew and stop wankin about how atrie stole is his name and made roller coaster tycoon 3! god! rct was succesful! so what if it is better in graphics? it is new and useful!

  • Oh geez...this brings back memories...

  • Merry Go Round 1 Was Great!

  • 1 person must never of played rct 2

  • It's too crowded here.

  • What nostalgia!

  • Amazing! Now I have something new to listen to; thank you!

  • Merry-Go-Round 1 is really good value!

  • @LightcycleChampion

  • @LightcycleChampion I want to go on something more thrilling than Merry-Go Round 1

  • @LightcycleChampion yes the game is so cool

  • Thanks for the upload!!

  • Where did you get the CD?

  • @gaspen100 I ripped the tracks directly from the game, but the LP can be found for sale from various auction sites like eBay. Hope that helps.

  • @tregnier279

You got these directly from a storebought CD installation of Rollercoaster Tycoon 2?

I've looked in the files and cannot find it. If you did, could you tell me the specific location?

    Thanks!

  • @tregnier279 You don't need to rip. All the music tracks from Roller Coaster II are in the game's folder as .dat files. I also extracted all of them to record a CD some years ago, but didn't recorded it yet. I used them replacing the music files of Roller Coaster 3.

And thank you for sharing these fantastic fairground organ recordings. I didn't know they were from Ruth Company.

  • I love your uploads, and I love the music from this game.

    Excellent quality rips.

Is there any chance of being able to download these somewhere? I'm not a very technical person, and I have no idea how to rip them from my game. haha

Again, thanks for the upload. Send me a PM or leave a response if you can.

  • The 1st song played...*sighs* the memories

  • I wish you can Get carousel music on Rct3. If you know how please tell me. My video was a video with youtube music

  • You can import music tracks into the game. If one were to compile a loop of Band Organ music (i.e., one long track composed of multiple songs), one could use it for the carousel.

  • How? can I import music from seebreeze park carousel?

  • If the music is in a .wav format (I think), it is possible. I'd do a google search for a more thorough answer.

  • Thanks

  • Yes!!! I DID THAT TOO!!!!! The music files in RCT2 is in .dat format, but you can change the file extension to .wav. But attention: not all the .dat files are musics. Some of these are other file types. You will find the files css3.dat to css46.dat in the RCT2 folder. Css4.dat, for example is this music (Regimentskinder). Open with WMPlayer to check. I think the file type accepted in RCT 3 is .wma. Convert, put in RCT3 folder and enjoy it!

  • Tom meijer

  • wait a second, did tom meijer do all the band organ stuff for rct?

  • As far as I know, no. The arrangements are not from Tom Meijer, but are original arrangements from the Ruth Fair Organ Co..

  • where can i find a picture of the organ used in these tracks?,

i wanna see the organ for these songs

i remember this game as well.

  • Do a Google search for "The Bressingham Voigt." One of the results will be an LP album cover (the LP these tracks come from) and a picture of the organ (in its display lorry) is on the cover.

    Hope this helps.

  • Julius Fuck huh?

  • It always scares me when the organ breaks down in the game!

  • isnt this one in RC 1 aswell ?

  • All the tracks for the carousel were the same in both of the games.

  • where do you take them from? i don't have an rct2 folder on my computer. rct2 is installed

  • You go into "my computer" then "program files" then "infogrames" then "RCT2" then "data".

The files you want are #4 - #15.

  • can you download these anywhere? im looking to put them into my rollercoaster tycoon 3 game. its just not the same without the carousel music!

    please let me know.

  • If you have Rollercoaster Tycoon 2, you can take .dat files #4-#15 and convert them into .mp3 and .wav

Then you need to combine them all into nne long song/loop.

  • either way, this is undoubtedly the best one in the game!

  • i thought this was the blond sailor. oh well, im no expert! :)

  • It's OK. The Blond Sailor is the song played in the installation window.
