  • Yes you were quite lucky!!

  • Wow, I've never seen the Marine label before. Only the Army & Navy versions.

  • @rbratcherjr Army branch producted 905, Navy branch 275, Marines??????? I was luck to match this set.

  • There's a reason Frank Sinatra is called The Voice.

  • Gosh, makes me kind of sentimental, and this is the first time I've ever heard this version.............. We live in such a different world now. Makes me long for the 20th century...........

  • tks for posting this say v-disc 506a when playing on my computer it changes to v-disc

266a halfway through same songs though.ps i am enjoying all of your postings

  • @bingcro Early in the V-Disc program each branch of the service had their own labels made for the records. After the war ( V-Disc 516) was over they combined to make just one label with all branches named.

  • Awesome!

  • thanks! i will. and thank you for posting these. they're wonderful.

  • I love how, in 'Anchors Aweigh,' Frank Sinatra sings this and sends not only the kid but Gene Kelly to sleep too...
