This man is so ridiculous it is entertaining. Nothing against Ford but if I would have seen this video before I went shopping for a mid-size I would have avoided the Fusion out of spite.

nice to see Ford stepping up and making better vehicles. to the person questioning the safety in the new Fords, there is a reason Ford had 16 vehicles make IIHS Top Safety Picks, look at Chrysler, they had ZERO, not one top safety pick. Ford is making Volvo safety technology standard in most of its vehicles (Ford owns Volvo). You have to give them credit for stepping up and investing so heavily in improving safety. Ford quality has also greatly improved.
do you realize what the safety ratings even mean? Go watch some crash tests or talk to someone whos been in a crash. The difference between 1 star and 5 stars is A broken arm, ribs, and neck compared to a broken pelvic, ribs and arm. You can VERY easily make cars extremely safe by reinforcing them with Cages and roll bars (which properly done can be hidden inside panels. But no...they dont so obviously none of the companies really care that much.Racecar drivers and dragsters wont take it tho.

Hopefully you're a GM guy and if that's the case we're on the same team because I like GM's as well, I drive a Tahoe. I think GM has stepped up as well in terms of quality, reliability and safety. The only company I'm bashing there is Chrysler and I was just giving Ford props for stepping up.
lol nice guess, anyways my friends owns one of these I dont really feel safe riding around in it. I used to own a Tahoe,solid truck. Exactly what I would be afraid of in a Fusion. They have definitely added to their safety with side air bags but the structural design of ALL cars needs to change for safety. I just really disliked how this guy made such a biased review.And was also pointing out 5 star safety can still equal a horrible accident.
awd doesn't let your cars tires spin. i haven't actually tried the fusion awd, but i do own an awd vehicle... and there isn't any tire spin at all. just thought i'd let you know why it seemed like he didn't slam on the accelerator... he probably did but the awd system didn't allow him to take off quickly. : )
that isnt true at all, while yes its harder because you have Twice the mount of traction so you need more power to get the tires going its not true at all. If the engine has the power it can spin the tires on any car.
why the hell would u watch a comparison BIASED towards the Ford because its a ford guy??? THey fucking lock the brakes on the malibu and properly break the Fusion??
Both are dumb eco cars but wtf..my friend hit his Fusion on a curb and now its completely misaligned. Not safe cars and not really high quality to be honest.
that traction test was so ridiculous! they feathered the Fusions peddle and hammered the Malibu's. That Malibu would roll right off the mats for anyone else.

Chevy Malibu sucks, even the new ones feel cheap and god help you if you have to sit in those back seats longer then 10 minutes because they feel like a damn park bench.
Well..., I'm a Ford guy...but, I've driven a 1999 Chevorlet SuburbanLT for 5yrs. It had over 190k. miles and, never gave me any mechanical problems. Still runs good til' this day because, I sold it to an old friend of mines whom, lives a couple of blocks from me! I'm back driving a Ford(Expedition), now and, MAAAAN, I tell you, I miss driving these vehicles. ;-)
In the going of a wet floor test he slowly accelerated on the fusing while he hardly did it in the malibue what made it slip like a fool
