i think that Palestine is being oppressed by Israeli who in turn is being oppressed by the Arab and Muslim communities around them

I respect your opinion but what you have not realized is that all the surrounding communities are controlled by Israel. Egypt by itself could wipe Israel off the map but it wont because it's controlled by Israel.

i think Egypt has not because they know that the U.S. would get involved and they do not want that
Egypt are controlled by the US. Egypt have a strong and powerful army.
