Over the years we have dined in countless restaurants like these in Phuket, have not gotten any sickness yet. Just have to remember the standards of hygiene are not held at high standards as your own country (In my case USA). Just enjoy, make your own judgments and precautions. In all the food is prepared at pretty high standards in just about all places that we have been to.

Is the food safe to eat in the little Thailand shops like this. Have they been hygenically prepared etc? We are travelling in a couple of months there and i really don't want to get belly troubles.
