Man...it looks like they took the left over props from Dark Shadows and used it in this video...those trees came right out of Eagle Hill Cemetary and just look at that metal door @ 1:12 !! LOL Fun video..thanks for posting!
You could be right Baron! Dark Shadows was winding down when this was made. Perhaps Dan Curtis was looking to make a quick buck from obsolete settings and props. Thanks for your comment!
Baron, you have a keen eye. When my father first saw that "iron" door on DS, he told me how he thought that it was made, being handy with woodworking, himself. He said the bars were likely dowel rods, and the metal "rivets" around the window and frame were furniture buttons of the kind used to cover screw holes. He said they probably painted the whole thing with industrial paint to give it that aged iron look. He said that if I wanted one for my new house that he'd make me one, LOL.
this is awesome - right up alice cooper's alley and his own theatrics.
love the muppets and this is appropriate - song and story.
thanks a bunch!

Those drapes...The Old House, perhaps? This was just dandy. I loved the combination of song and subject matter. Bravo!

Thanks Thyme Bottle! Perhaps "The Frog Prince" was the closest that Dan Curtis and Jim Henson ever came to collaborating on a project?
