  • I´m gonna get one! It provides a little bit saftey anyway, better then a 6fot of chain and a brickwall in your pocket......

  • haha cutting torch!

  • Merci pour la video !!!

  • I'm very aware of that, but I've met plenty of people that are under the impression that a brake lock or alarm is sufficient security for their bikes. I'm just commenting for the people who don't realize that a brake lock alone will not protect their bikes.

  • still wont stop anyone from doing a driveby pick up.

  • @urna55 but the idea with bike safety isn't "this one thing will stop a thief", you use several devices and secure it to something solid and unmovable ... with any luck a thief wont be bothered and move onto the next bike where someone hasn't been as careful with their security

  • @urna55, right. but driveby-pick up is organized crime.jack asses arent organized, but stupid like a low carb fruit cake! this thing at least stops idiots from trying to steal it.

  • what if you lose the key and there are no ninja's around?

  • KANKER GOED MAN, ABUS 4 LIFE

  • all disc lock are bullshit! they resist only a few seconds... :(

  • what if the alert goes off then the key getting stuck in the hole?

  • Dont think it will get stucked, the lock quality is very good.

  • and, how to hack? ...

  • Does anyone know if this thing is easy to crop? If it's as easy as Abus' chain, it'll be off when the alarm has done its first cycle...

  • dude.. do you really think you could get a pair of bolt croppers around that thing.. hell itd be easier to chop through the disk and replace that.

  • I think your right :-) I went ahead and bought myself one for christmas, and I'm really please with it! Works like a charm, and feels solid as hell!

  • I dont see how a "crooper" can get to this lock, you need a thin metal saw..

  • I was highly disapointed with this product. The product was activated but when I moved the bike, nothing happened. The only time It sounded was when I kicked (pretty hard) aganst the lock. Do not buy this bullshit!

  • Other says that works great... BTW...I'm not selling this product. As you can see it works fine. You should bring your own back to the store and they should change or fix it.

  • Yeh, that's how my abus works. It has to be moved quite hard to get it screaming. The kind of movement perhaps that occur if a thief were trying to bypass it, or if the bike were rolled and the disc lock got caught in the forks or mudguard.

The alternative is something like a xena alarm, which goes off every time a gnat flies past.

  • @HIMBF2 @HIMBF2 That's not true, I have it and it is very sensitive. If you move the bike or just start it alarm starts working immediately.

  • Very Cool!
