  • akward moment when the akward moment is so ovbious that it doesn't even need to mentioned

  • @LuckyLefty92 yea i read that too...sucks that bleeks (probably) best verse ever was ghost written

  • @catdogcirca1990s Lol i know right

  • Like this is rap for real. The story telling, the rhymes ... incredible!!! This is god damn Picasso.

For real if you aint feeling this you need to turn down your weezy and drake for a minute and recognize.

  • "ten thou or a hundred g keep yo sh*t the same" it's funny u say that jay. I'm not hating on his new stuff I like it too but he did contradict himself. Whatever he goes ham now.

  • bleek went in

  • This track is SO Brooklyn!!!

  • just because your famous doesn't mean your mainstream. when have you ever seen a tech n9ne album ad? i've seen one once anywhere (including internet) and that was an ad for a concert in KC (his hometown). not mainstream

  • Hova's a straight genius. This shit kind of speaks about what he was doing before music but at the same time relates to the relationship he had with Bleek when he was doing music. Then he got him on track again in the sequel to make that shit more real.

  • this is that 5 am ridin music

  • @justindanielp hehehe! you get it

  • This nigga Memph held his own. He was 16 too.

  • Tech isn't mainstream dumb ass. He's signed to his own independent label and always will be. You obviously don't know rap or Tech.

  • Tech N9ne and Lupe fiasco are 2 of the best mainstream hip-hop artists alive. Period.

  • @AJEdaAssassin31491 tech n9ne aint mainstream wtf know ur shit

  • @mc9391 Insults? Really? Tech N9ne's goal is to be in the mainstream. His album 6s and 7s has a small host of mainstream artists on it. More people nationwide know who tech is, as opposed to true underground acts such as brothe lynch hung, AOTP, and blue scholars. He's mainstream.

  • @AJEdaAssassin31491 a mainstream artist on an independent label? does that make sense to you? he prides himself on being underground, hes just getting some recognition now.

  • @mc9391 Officially, yeah he is underground. Does that mean he is a true underground artist? No. Music listeners nationwide have been aware of Tech n9ne since the late 90s. Eminem used to be undergroud. So was 50 cent. Tech n9ne is a true talent. I doubt he will be underground for too long. His main goal is to achieve mainstream status.

  • gangster rap is stupid anyway. old school rap is best. gangster rap is a joke.

  • like i said 1st time hearin dizz album diz mutha bumpz jam afta jam..

makes me really wonder wat HAPPENED?????

  • MEMPHIS BLEEK!!! WTF

He Took A Knife, Carved His Heart Out, And Put It In This Song

  • stop with the top 5 lists. you all sound stupid and retarded for making them. arguing who should be in a top 5 of rappers are fucking stupid.

  • Classic right here.

  • wow. classic. omg.

  • Classic all day

  • lets all argue on you tube about who we thinks best

  • who cares about a top 5 , just know that theres so many great rappers out there to listen to and be thankful!

  • 1. Big L

    2. Wu Tang

    3. Atmosphere

    4. Gang Starr

    5. Aesop Rock

  • Bleek killed that shit

  • Tupac is the greatest he rapped about everyday problem

  • @JustinBieberisGOD1 dat dnt make him da best

  • j. cole and jay-z need to make a song like this

  • street rap at its finest, selling dope.

  • 1. Jay-z

    2. Biggie Smalls

    3. Eminem

    4. Wu-Tang forever

    5. Big Pun

  • @srowe6000

jay-z is not by any stretch of imagination the best rapper ever. if this is your personal preference for MCs, then that's fine, but neither jay-z, nor biggie, nor eminem belong on the top 5 most skilled MCs list

  • @multipoly210

    then who is?

  • @srowe6000 lool i love reasonable doubts and blueprint but even i know that jay aint top 5

my top 5 would prob be

    1.Biggie Smalls

    2.Rakim

    3.2pac

    4.Nas

    5.Big l

  • @junkhobokiller

if you say you have Biggie at #1

then what would you say if Diddy told Jay-Z

"come on man.. your the greatest ever"

if so facto... jay should be ontop of your list... but its cool i respect everyone on your list!

  • man, this song's dope. the beat is nice as well

  • 5 dislikes? wtf is wrong with you people?!?! this is classic jay

  • top 10 album of all time every track is fly

  • MAGNIFICENT ALBUM!

  • This is the only Jay album I can really fuck with like that.

  • I love this song! This is classic hip hop shyt. Jay-z n memphis bleek at their best

  • @zsivaz Can i get a Big L???

  • SUPERTIGHT!

  • @danmore1101 HAHAHA! illmatic overrated?? damn i think i've heard it all now... nas is ONE of the best alive or dead, there are others such as Pharaohe Monch(Organized Konfusion), MF DOOM, Wu Tang, M.O.P, Mobb Deep, Souls of Mischeif, The Pharcyde, Big Pun, Def Squad, Del, Heather B, Cormega, AZ, A tribe called quest, De la soul, Black Star, Science Of Life, Rakim. etc. i mean, its ignorant to just limit hip hop to jus one emcee. there are many many rappers that still make good shit ya kno?

  • wow ppl actually put jay z and LL above nas AND 2pac!? seriously ppl... maybe this world really has gone mad

  • @IceMann402

People are entitled to their opinions but Nas and Pac are better lyricists than Jigga and much better better than LL.

  • @Ginga of course dat goes without even sayin man, totally agreed

  • @JMB857

    what?

Lupe is great, but he doesn't belong in that list. Seriously. Nas and Jay-Z are way better man.

  • @jelloman17

Both have produced much material but Lupe is more lyrical than both of them and his flow is no worse either.

  • My list IMO: 1. Jay Z 2. Ice Cube 3. Rakim 4. LLCoolJ 5. Biggie 6. Big Daddy Kane 7. 2pac 8. Krs One 9. Chuck D 10. Nas/Eminem
  • @zsivaz haha what a joke

  • i love this song- but it sounded a bit gay loool- soo many innuendo's lol

  • s/o to Brooklyn

  • i dont give a shit about your fucking list of best rappers...their all good in their own ways to shut the fuckkk upppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this album is CLASSIC FIRE!

  • @razzle9438 Yea it is!

  • @LWebb1000 ha......yeah this hit VERY HARD!

  • nobody wants to be like michael where im from just some niggas who bouncin the gun

  • in my opinion i think it was written has more juice than illmatic

not taking anything frm Legendary matic

but tracks like street dreams , i gave you power , if i rule the world , live nigga rap , firm affirmitive , the set up and message makes it was written a classic and underrated

  • @taheemc agreed

  • Comment removed

  • @XXXXNanoXXXxx Nigga J Cole bringin it back .. Uz a dummy

  • This the best Jay joint period (.)

  • Respect the classics because they are and ever will be ETERNAL!!

  • JCole alright but he aint droppin shit ha everybody workin on an album who the fuck is puttin them out tho hahaha

    dominant species

    prophecy

    point of no return

    creation and destruction

Listen to these songs and u will know that this rapper is one of the best FUCK J COLE

  • @danmore1101 damn owell argument is gone i like nas better then jay and nas 1st album is better then jay first album lol at the end its always just an opinion>>!!

  • @danmore1101 wow u think so? i think big L had more talent than everyone except biggie

  • Nas da best rapper alive, Jigga is nice tho

  • @WestLoCC51 then if u say tht y u listen to his shit ?

  • Big pun was nice..yes no doubt about that but had he lived i dont think u would be sayin the same thing..who knows, he only had one album, and @danmore1101 if u think Big L was overrated listen to Big L & jay-z track 7 minute freestyle and ull prolly feel stupid..Big L tought jay-z about fast word play and ull see my example in that song, listen to Big L's last album before he died. both pun and L died yes..but u cant take away from legendary status for what they did put out.

  • @moegdaog thats what i say about big, i like the nigga and all but fuckin wit diddy, he was on the way 2 being on some str8 pop shit. yea he was still spittin, but he was go be on some commercial shit. It's hard 2 make commercial musik and still spit real shit. Like if snoop would of died after doggystyle niggas would be like pac, big, SNOOP, jay are the best rappers of all time............thats just how it is, u know quit while u are ahead

  • @killuminatiplz true that, but big snoo is still a legend no matter how popy and homo some of his new shit is

  • If death makes you hold a legacy than Easy E, Proof, and Big Hawk from Houston would be considered legends. I honestly believe that almost no one put together words the way that Big L did.

  • easy e is a legend

  • Easy E is a legend in Compton. Not in Hip Hop, what Top Five dead or alive list do you find Easy E listed in. ( Not a diss to Easy E, as a fan of Hip-Hop I do appreciate his musical contribution aswell as the introduction of Bone Thugs and Harmony)

  • @PREMODOGMATIC Everyone Around Where Im From Think The Top 5 Rappers Of All Time Are

    1. Eazy-E

    2. Pac

    3. Biggie

    4. Snoop

    5. Game

    Whack List Huh ?

These Days People Dont Rank Rappers Based On Skill But Rank Them Based On Other Things Like Being A Blood Or A Crip Or Being Dead

  • @HipHop4Life210 I don't think this list has wack artists, I just think that alot of them aren't top five. Big and Pac have built an almost untouchable legacy for themselves, the other three not so much. I appreciate artists for doing what they do to the best of their ability. That goes for thugs, backpackers, hip-hop heads, lyricists. I like it all, just as long as it has some real talent behind it.

  • @PREMODOGMATIC Yeah I Agree You There I Like A Five But Of I Continued The List It Would Be 6, Wayne They Hated Him Until They Found Out He Was A Blood, 7 Flo Rida. 8 Eminem I Can Understand Pac & Big Ranked Higher Then EM But Not Wayne,, Flo Rida, Game, Snoop Or Eazy - E . Thanks For The Mature Comment

  • @HipHop4Life210 I laughed out loud when i saw lil wayne and flo rida on your list.

  • @PREMODOGMATIC

He really is a legend in hip hop, he started gangsta rap, nobody else but him.

  • @88ritchie I made this comment a year ago. But since you responded, let me clarify.Ice Cube started gangsta rap. He was behind Easy's pen. Easy E just sold it. If Easy E started Gangsta Rap then so did Jerry Heller.

  • @PREMODOGMATIC your lying to yourself or very uneducated in hip hop if you believe Eazy E is only a legend in hip hop ... so Biggie is only a legend in Brooklyn

  • @ZYaKnoe249 Biggie is on lterally every top 10 or top 5 list in hip hop. He has influenced the lives and styles of many other artists. He is also cited as the greatest ever by MOST established rappers and lyricists from his time as well as ours. LEGEND. Easy E was a part of a group where most of the songs were written by Ice Cube and MC Ren. He made valid contributions, but he isn't a rap legend. Did you even read this comment? Or what it was a response too? I'm uneducated in hip hop?!! lol

  • @PREMODOGMATIC okay that's obviously, but would Biggie had been able to get big if a Eazy E lead N.W.A and himself had not come out ? when it comes to influence and who changed the landscape ... Eazy wins be eaz

  • @PREMODOGMATIC he is a rap legend ... as those contributions were made through rap am i correct ?

  • @ZYaKnoe249 His contributions were made through business deals and friendships. Not through lyrical and musical talent. NWA as a group pioneered "Gangsta" rap. But Dre was the producer. Cube was the writer. If anything Easy E exploited them. But besides even though Easy E did have an impact on the industry it wasn't a big enough impact to make him a legendary rapper. It has nothing to do with the discussion I had over a year ago that people are just now responding to.

  • @PREMODOGMATIC Biggie also had MANY repetitive rhymes ; Eazy's musical talent: his unqiue voice ... one of the most in Hip Hop history...discovering DOC, ; NWA, & BTNH...two biggest rap groups of all time .... lyrical ability isn't what fully makes a rapper it is what they do also to enhance their empire Biggie never had any great business moves...Junior Mafia without Biggie on their songs no one cared; out of thier 3 singles (he was on 2) the ones he was on did great...the one he wasnt, lame

  • @PREMODOGMATIC okay during his time in NWA he didn't write lyrics ... but i'm done ... before i go think real hard ... if Eazy E just stayed a drug dealer in Compton and didn't help put on NWA, DOC, BTNH through Ruthless Records ... the ENTIRE rap landscape would be different ... their would possibly be no Biggie if Eazy & NWA didn't help open up Hardcore Rap to the world

  • @ZYaKnoe249 None of what you're saying has ANYTHING to do with being a great rapper. Pad his resume all you want. He still isn't one of the greatest RAPPERS. Not saying he wasn't important, but it has nothing to do with rapping. By your standards I guess top five = Easy E, Dr. Dre, Diddy, Uncle Luke, and The Sugar Hill Gang. The fact is that someone said that Big L was overrated and being dead automatically makes you a legend in Hip Hop. Easy E isn't mentioned with Pac, Big, Pun, Big L.

  • Real Sick Beat.

  • please shut the fuck up..you have no valid points here...read some bookss

  • @danmore1101 iagree with some of this not all tho .

  • the definition of overrated has his song playing..

  • u got a good point classifying people good because they have platinum status dosnt mean there the don. the coment was toward the quality and quantity of nas and other albums that showed as a fact that they made good albums then most rappers and nas was 18 to produce ill shit that means he was 16 writing it down got mad skilz other rappers goes plat doset mean there good ur right! for wayne to me his quality of music is garbage but ppl like that so his quantity is high 4 nas qail and qaun is high

  • @danmore1101 illmatic overrated, do you know what your talking about? A few of nas's albums dat didnt sell well were good albums.. And as for talking about guys like lil wayne and obie fuckin trice they are wack you cant talk about them anywhere near jay z or biggie or nas or 2pac

  • @Jbizzle390 you trippin

  • reply 2 danmore1101

your comment is bullshit u dumdown all the greatest rappers big l was amazing mvp at his time too good for his time biggie was crazy damn right allways will b nas is 1 of the best rapper ever no dout ur an idiot saying he cant make a good album look at his albums idiot most of them platinum 5 major albums ill, written, still, god and lost tapes amazing the rest was good too. next pac the legend had ballz to diss everyone and no one had ballz to diz him u pussy out if u met him

  • clearly your buggin

  • The fuck you on son, biggie was already goin commercial and if he was still alive he would've went the camel/50 route making pure commercial music. Pun and L both > biggie, nas can't make a good album lol go 2 sleep my g
