Her long arms and tall height make her skating brilliant ... the jumps looks amazing. I think she's very underrated. If she is more consistent (like this performance) she'll go very far.

I think she lost her bronze medal because of the lack of transitions in the program.. too many just crosscuts in between elements. It was still an amazing program for her and a great end to the season.

i was sooo happy she FINALLY had a performance like this, that shows you she can compete with the best in the world, the was only just over 1 point off the podium, super close , good for her, just think if she had a tripple tripple in there or a second tripple lutz in her program she could of been as high as 2nd if they were done well.

@ryanfskater screw the 3/3 and second lutz, if she had better levels on her steps, spirals and spins...not to mention transitions.

I don;t think her coaches even built a program to medal...which is a shame.

But hopefully this will be a stepping stone. I kind of feel like she may have missed her big oportunity. :(

The American woman are underotating their jumps or turning their bodies before they jump so it's a cheated jump. Kurt Browning commented that it will takes years for them to break that habit so don't count on them to be on the podium for a couple of years

Just wanted to comment on Tinafigureskating,her comments about Cynthia. Every element Cynthia did in that performance was world class. All she needs to to is add a second triple lutz in her program along with a clean short to be on the podium.

This was a great performance! To get a higher score I think she should make the transitions to her jumps more difficult.

so exciting. i love cynthia's skating and for her to put up such an awesome skate at worlds is wonderful!! I hope she continues to compete, can't wait to see her next year!
