  • she with the indigo girls? rachel brices troupe? can see the influence anyhow! very good, love these art deco/art nuveau, silent movie style costumes that have been doing the rounds

  • Such a great performance!

Sherri is such a Lovely Dancer & has a unique style all her own and amazing live!

More power to you Sherri, 'Aiwa*

  • bellydancing should not be about sexuality in a provoking way. too many people perceive bellydancing the wrong way as it is. it needs to be more respected than looked at as sexual and arousing&that shit..

  • @laurenelizabeth209 But it is sexual. It began as a dance to arouse men and it's grown into a more refined art form but it still serves that function. And there's nothing wrong with that.

  • hahahaha ihateoinkers is nucking futs. i think sherri masters tribal fusion i've never seen anyone do the things she does and she is the most inspiring by far. she reeks of sexuality and that's what belly dancing should be.

  • I saw a video of Ms. Wheatley from Burning Man. She is awesome. She has great stage presentation and her personality interacts with the crowd. She looks like she is having an great time and she wants you to enjoy it with her. Her stage persona and engagemet makes her beautiful to watch and she is also a really great dancer as well!@

  • @ihateoinkers, if you knew anything about belly dance, you would know that comparing Sherri Wheatley to Rachel Brice is completely idiotic. They both bring totally different energies to the stage while both possessing impeccable technique. Go get schooled then come back and apologize....i'd like to see you dance, wanker.

  • This is great dancing

  • @ihateoinkers, lets see you get up and dance in front of hundreds of people and see what people say about you. I'm all for constructive criticism, but this is just plain mean. There are plenty of videos of dancers you admire on youtube, why don't you just stick to watching their videos. Otherwise, I can only conclude that you enjoy spewing forth negativity for the sake of just plain being really inconsiderate.

  • There is a lot of "hey look what I can do" Not- here- this is the story I am telling to you.... Shallow, mediocre, boring after the first minute or so. Want to see good? Rachel Brice, Zoe Jakes, Sharon Kihara, Sadie.... They tell a story. Hopefully this girl can evolve. Her costume is brilliant but judging from the shallowness of her dancing, I highly doubt she made it....

  • @ihateoinkers

Wow, you really got it off your chest, didn't you! Come on now, I agree she's not Rachel Brice, but then few are. Such talent is hard to come by even with a lot of practice. Brice is an ATS goddess, but let's not bring down this Sherri woman in such a harsh manner.

  • @ihateoinkers The interesting thing is that I remember sending a clip of my dancing to her a few years back which featured this song. I got no response then not long after I see her dancing to the song. I'm not saying dancers don't borrow music, it was just an interesting experience. The video of me performing to it is on my channel, dated jan 2008...

  • her hips make love to this song. amazeballs.

  • Pure awesome.

  • i love how you smile during the performance, very sexy.

  • wow. Amazing! She should come perform in westside Puerto Rico!

  • LoVe LoVe LoVe Sherri, she IS Beautiful Fluid Art....<3

  • Does every one know, how does the song called?

  • Wonderful costume!

  • Pure beauty!!!!

  • what's the name of the song???it's awesome!

  • @ctefsparkles Boreta - Bubblin in the Cut

  • @scaleblade Thank you! :)

  • LOVE those leggings!!! Great performer : )

  • Captivating!

  • The intro to Bubblin' in the Cut by Boreta that we're hearing here could be part of a mixed track done specifically for her performance. The majority of what you're hearing is indeed the track by Boreta. As for the short slower tempo'd intro? Not a clue where it came from. ;)

  • She's a great dancer and her outfits are fabulous, but her arms are a tad stiff. If she'd just remember her arms and not concentrate too much on her body, she'd be perfect.

  • what is the name of first song???? because Bubblin In the Cut by boreta is a different one

  • if U listen carefully U can hear its FRENCH, no idea what song, hope knowin its French helps U!

  • this is really great

there's always something I've loved about her style...I can't quite place my finger on it. I think it's her really fast pop an lock. beautiful.

  • The song is entitled "Bubblin' In the Cut" by Boreta

  • i'd also like to know the music from this performance XP
