I agree with Frank. If you are going to add a qualifier, you should make a false one. like 'just an oridinary dollar bill' or something instead of 'no strings'. That puts the idea in their head that perhaps there is a spring in the dollar or something. you could also do a switch and hand them another dollar after the trick to examine.
as a magician i wouldnt focus on the string reason at the end of trick it tends to make people think about a string being somewhere.just tell them you trained your dollar and when your done put it away dont give them any thought as to how it might be done...trying to disprove will ruin a trick
