L'album "Down" de Sentenced est un joyau du metal goth au même titre que "Draconian Times", "One second" de Paradise Lost et "Beyond the veil" de Tristania. Les titres "Noose" et "Keep my grave open" résonnent dans mon coeur de puriste avec toujours la même émotion. Dommage que le groupe, par la suite, ait tourné définitivement doom.

@KhaosReborn Because Sentenced no longer exists as a band and this recording is probably the best Century Media has.Plus,I think it's the way the song is supposed to sound like.There are some songs that need the "bad sound" to create the atmosphere and crystal clear quality would just ruin it.For example,look up Extinction Algorithm - Main Theme,then Satanichio.It's the same record company,but still...It's not the same kind of music,not the same sound,but it's just something to prove my point.

@dragoon0109 Sentenced vocalist Villie Laihiala made Poisonblack post-sentenced.Sentenced was formed in 1989 and Villie joined in 1993 or 1995.Poisonblack was formed after that.They got the sound from Sentenced.
