No it's not, a wmd creates massive devastation over a large area, like a biological agent or an extremely powerful explosive or radioactive material. You'd have to include CS gas in that category if you include mustard gas. It would only be a wmd if you made an impractically large bomb out of it. Not all illegal weapons are wmd's.

Even North Korea and Iran have WMD...probably much more than Saddam did, why was Iraq so special? All the war has done now is reduce Iraq to civil war - the Iraqi government can't deal with the ethnic cleansing, and the Iraqi army in some places is not properly managed...what's more, we now have a situation where Iran has a clear field in the middle east, with it's top enemy gone...

@dawl23face The older weapons found were outdated munitions from the Iraq-Iran war and inncapeble of use as a chemical weapon, they had a usage life of about 3-5 years before they became outdated. The justification of war was that Saddam posesed chemical weapons and continued to attempt to aquire nuclear weapons. Because the "WMD" that were found could not actually be used as weapons, and were inncapeble of causing any destruction, let alone mass destruction, they cannot be in violation of 1441

No one from the Pentagon dismissed the claims in that article?? What they ARE saying is that the WMD are probably old...but that doesn't matter. If it is true, which as of right now it is, then they are in violation. O'Reilly never mentions that they were unuseable, or that Saddam posed no threat to the United States, as was the justification for the war. Plus there is the fact that Bush definitely did lie about Iraq trying to acquire WMD's from Africa in his State of the Union, even after the intelligence community told the White House that it wasn't true. When a president lies to his country, he deserves no apology.
