I am grateful.. I have been sewing professionally and personally since 1979. We weren't taught at college the expert way to insert an invisible zip.. and I have attempted it many times, with dismal failure. Thank you, again. gotta go put in a new one now on that favourite skirt of mine!
Thank you. You have just saved my life. I'm making some army skirt for a hen party abd i need to send them off asap and the zippers were the only thing stoping me from sending them to the girls. Thank you Thank you Thank you
I just started learning how to sew, I've seen several videos and gathered a lot of info, but this one was the easiest of them all. I've manage to make pillow cases instead of just plain pillows, it's going to make things much better when they get dirty. lol. Thank you so much for the info.... BTW FYI it's a lot faster to sew the zipper if you iron them flat and get rid of the curl that they naturally have. And the up side is that i didn't have to use a zipper foot.
For twenty-five years I have been looking for an easy way to do this. OMG you have changed the way I veiw the invisible zipper. I look forward to seeing more of your videos.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR CLEAR EXPLANATION! I am very new to sewing and am so frustrated by videos that use so much sewing jargon! I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY'RE SAYING!! Thank you for using clear terminology that us beginners can understand!! God Bless(es through Christ)!!
Thank you so much, I have a theory that Alexander McQueen killed himself because someone asked him to put in an invisible zip. Bad joke perhaps but really, thank you so much for makings this video. Even my sewing teacher who has been trying to teach me for ages is impressed when I walked into class and fitted a zip straight off after weeks of getting it wrong. So impressed was she have had to send her the link.

Thanks so much. Some of the other videos made the process look cumbersome, but you made it look very easy. I've tried the special hidden zipper foot, and this looks much easier.
I've always hated the fact that the "reverse lever" [probably not the right name] is hand-operated. It'd be so much easier if you didn't have to take your hands away.
(I suck at sewing, but I can at least outdo all my mates.)
Are you kidding me. Amazing. No pressing seams, no turning things inside out. Straight forward put the zipper on the right side and sew. Can it be any simpler? Love it. Now I feel confident to attach this zipper. lol. Thanks.
Excellent video, I wish I had seen it before I went and bought an expensive extra zipper foot (which is a pain to use). Thank you I can finish sewing a costume with confidence now.
thank you! i thought i had to had a special foot besides my normal zipper foot to put in an invisible zip. I have a costume that needs finishing with a zipper, and i've just been neglecting attempting it because i was clueless as to how to put it in! now i can finish it off right so I can keep working on it.
This was one of the most informative and easy to understand instruction video that I have ever seen. Thank you for showing so CLEARLY how to insert an invisible zipper. I have been sewing for over 20 years and have never attempted to sew one. Now, it is going to be the next thing I do. Thanks again!
This instruction was the best I've seen. I've been afraid to insert an invisible zipper but after watching this very clear demonstration, I believe I can now insert an invisible zipper.
Wow! I've been sewing for years but I only just now got it! Thanks!
