I am grateful.. I have been sewing professionally and personally since 1979. We weren't taught at college the expert way to insert an invisible zip.. and I have attempted it many times, with dismal failure. Thank you, again. gotta go put in a new one now on that favourite skirt of mine!

I just started learning how to sew, I've seen several videos and gathered a lot of info, but this one was the easiest of them all. I've manage to make pillow cases instead of just plain pillows, it's going to make things much better when they get dirty. lol. Thank you so much for the info.... BTW FYI it's a lot faster to sew the zipper if you iron them flat and get rid of the curl that they naturally have. And the up side is that i didn't have to use a zipper foot.

I've always hated the fact that the "reverse lever" [probably not the right name] is hand-operated. It'd be so much easier if you didn't have to take your hands away.
