Isn't the Piper a dream plane? We have a Warrior II and I am in love. The damned thing just wants to keep flying. We are building a KR2 as well so I can't wait to get that guy up in the air.

@golfer6716 - Our home airport (65G) is a 3000 foot strip and we can grease it in with the warrior.

in his defence he was probably trying to be as low as possible because most of those island landing strips are really short...ive done that a time or two and you really have to be ready on the power.

As a flight instructor, you want to make a slower, steeper approach on a short field.

If I may... (humbly) Slower yes, steeper, maybe not. That would depend on terrain. Assuming he nails his airspeeds and puts it down expeditiously, there's no need to drop it in.

Nice landing. I noticed the young ones in the back... I wish I was flying in single props when I was still in a car seat!
