  • Robot monster is pure genius god bless the 50s and the other sci fi horror form that time

  • I saw "Creature from the Black Lagoon" and "It Came from Outer Space" in 3-D about 20 years ago. I've rarely laughed so hard in a theater, especially at the latter.

  • Oh. my. god. I NEED to see Robot Monster! I actually really enjoyed The Creature from the Black Lagoon. I honestly though that the movie would have been worse but I was impressed.

  • This actually was a decent film.

  • I wonder were people in the fifties making fun of the acting in B movie just as much as we are today?

  • Horror novel about two boys who find something strange on the beach one night see video book trailer

  • Why are these movie monsters so fascinated by random human ladies? -_- King Kong, that gorilla diver alien thing, the fish thing, the jellyfish dude from another video... It's weird.

  • Cryptozoology novel see video book trailer

  • John Agar, introduced in a John Wayne western...The true King of the B's...

  • The Creature of the Black Lagoon has always been one of my favorates. I loved this movie as a kid, but the air bubbles coming from the top of his head always cracked me up. Great stuff!

  • i remember watching these on channel 18 in milwaukee late night!.........they would come on before midnight special at the same time as sat. night live...oh the memories of the 70's my bro and cousins around the tv...loved it!

  • Indestructible? I bet I could kick the ass of a guy in a gorilla costume with a diving helmet on his head.

  • cinemashow,info #OMG

  • You know Bronson Canyon must have a very good agent to be able to land roles in nearly every movie ever made, especally after that whole Robot Monster fiasco

  • My hubby has just started collecting old sci fi b movies. We have been having a sci fi fest as we have bought a boxed set containing This Island Earth, Tarantula. The thing, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, The Incredible Shrinking Man and It Came from Outer Space. Have never heard so many screaming women lol

  • creature from the black lagoon I thought was just great, still love watching it.

However the second and third creature movies stink.

  • wonderfull. LOL. its so great.

only in B-movies women are screaming perfekt.

a tip: the astounding she monster. best ever bad. ;-)

  • Robot monster,ha ha

  • Its funny how it seems that all old movie trailers have the same narrator. We have a different narrator but we use him all the time too. One of them just died maybe a year ago at the most. Hollywood replaced him with a narrator with a voice which isn't as deep as his.

  • Love these old B's!

  • i need to find such soundtracks ... anybody link me please ... i need them this week

  • The second trailer is just hilarious.

  • Never before have you're eyes born witness to a more awesome spectacle! A startling and heartpounding experience! You won't believe you're eyes when you see these trailers in 3-D!!!! There needs to be a trailer like that for these trailers!

Still to be fair the Creature from the Black Lagoon is actually a very good movie that came out of this age all things considered. At least it wasn't like Robot Monster with a diver's helmet on a gorilla suit.

  • Kay Lawrence was hot!

  • This shit is just GREAT!

I REVEL in BREATHTAKING, TERRIFYING, UNSTOPPABLE ENTERTAINMENT VALUE from a BYGONE AGE!

    Thanks, SuperWaffleNinja. You da man!

    Subbed friended, faved.

    (Very inspirational!)

  • 1950's b-movies are always good for a laugh.

  • no "Creature"were hurt during the production!!

    =8^D

  • At least they didn't assault the shit out of you with blood guts & gore every 5 seconds!

  • At least they didn't assault the shit out of you with blood guts & gore every 5 seconds!

  • These films=My childhood

  • the music was always intense!

  • by creepy i hope u mean black and white.

  • Darren McGavin ruled.

  • Damn... I love this!

    The awesomeness of crappyness.

  • this films budget must have been in the hundreds

  • woah those look awesome

  • what crappy imagination people had then

  • This is cool, I want to see them all =D

  • wat kind of camera do they use to film this? any one know how to get this look?

  • You mean more specifically than 35mm black and white film? If you're shooting diigital your best bet is probably something like "Magic Bullet". You can get pretty close using a 24p camera and After Effects or if you have the money for film go for it. 16mm B&W can probably get you pretty close to the look of robot monster. Check out a movie called "The Trouble With Lou" for an example of a modern movie shot to look like a 50's style flick. They used 16mm, I believe.

  • thanks heaps man

  • Julie Adams is still elegant and attractive; I sometimes chat with her when I'm taking a walk in Griffith Park. Took me awhile to figure out who she was, then she 'fessed up!

  • That's cool! Has she ever talked about the TV show she was on with Jimmy Stewart?

  • The 'Creature' movies were actually good. I was a kid and I remembered how scared I was. Also, I remembered how beautiful Julia Adams was.

  • How do you possibly find movies like this?! really, like where do you find them?!!

  • Best buy carries the legacy collection, all three creature movies in a box.

  • 10:30 PM Sat. - Fantastic compilation here. If anyone wants to come to may page and talk B-Movies feel free to come over. But yeah, this is a great collection of B-Movies that are dear to my heart.

  • Julia Adams was the bomb.

  • lol hahahahaha B-Movies hehe so funny

  • ROFL The Creature's face is funny xD

  • Robot monster looks like michael moore wearing a fish tank.

  • rofl!

  • Professor....I'm seeing this image in my brain and now I can't stop...hahahaha!!!

  • watching these movies at the theatre & the drive in seemed so cool back there in the '50s. Now it's silly how primative they were, compared to computer animated movies, today.......

  • Without any doubt THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON was the best monster to como out of the 40's and 50's.

Unforgettable! The creature will live forever.

Hope they don't make a mess of it in the remake.

  • Careful boy, you just said 'The Creature' was better than Godzilla.

    Your venturing into dangerous territory.

  • Now in THX!!!

  • Hahahhahhhhahaah , is it Super Man , lolx

  • These AIP type movies are priceless, the scientist, the lovely daughter anf the young Cop/journalist/Scientist. The ARMY fails to foil "The bug of the month" the Filmakers found in a science book. TCM doesn't show enough of these great drive-in flicks,There ought to be a cable station JUST for these films!

  • I saw It Came From Outer Space in poorly projected, dark, anaglyphic 3-D, and I LIKED IT. God help me, I feel so dirty.

  • Love the 50's.

  • man I wonna see one of the 3d ones in a theater so bad

  • I _ALMOST_ saw Creature From the black lagoon in 3D, but they sold out :(

  • Love these kind of trailers!

  • Gee-Whiz 3 demensions!

  • the creature from the black lagoon is't a b movie

  • i agree , also CFTBL , Revenge Of The Creature and It Came From Outer Space are Universal pictures not B-movies

and all 3 movies are directed by JACK ARNOLD :)

  • That's right...Revenge Of The Creature and It Came From Outer Space are great movies...

  • SEE awful special effects! Be THRILLED by hyperbole you've never experienced before!

  • If you like b movies like this, look at the short film on my profile- it's a short monster b movie inspired film

  • I want to begin a club for us that enjoy these old Sci Fi and monster movies of the 50's & the 60's. If any of you feel this is a good idea let me know. I live in Virginia Beach,VA.

  • I feel it's a great idea! But, I don't live anywhere near virginia :(

  • Great Idea - unforunately I'm in S. Caroina.

  • @Coasty1250 I'm in...I don't live near you either but maybe we can work it out.

  • Back then we used to say: "the shape of things to come".....little did we all know!! :):)

  • to the late night...double feature picture show. i wanna go to the late night, double feature...picture show

  • ROBOT MONSTER was baffling! You have to admit, they weren't lying! LOL...

  • I love the fact that the worst movie of this bunch has the most exaggerated hyperbole.

  • Creature from the black lagoon is one of the most famous B movies ever

  • I am a ....Human Beinnngggg!...
