Why do people get so damn offended over covers? I'll admit that this isn't a great cover by any stretch, but artists are not trying to "steal" other peoples music by covering a song. The fact that they chose to cover it is a tribute to the original artist and song. And the original is better 95% of the time anyway so to complain about a cover is worthless.

Maybe I'm outnumbered on this, but I usually like modern covers of '80s songs (and for the record I love the originals too, I was a kid then and grew up on that music).

It's not better than Eddie Money's version, but for anyone who doesn't like it... just think of it as they're interpreting the song in their own style.

not as good as the original, but it still sounded really good. for a live, in concert performance it sounded pretty good. if this were being filmed for TV or somethin, then yeah, they wouldve pretty much destroyed the song. i think this is one of the first times they did this live though so in that sense its a pretty good cover

Alright, Hinder is one of my favorite bands. But they completely DESTROYED this song. I think if he did it right and not in this dumb ass screaming way live, if he did it in the studio and took his time doing it, he could very possibly make it sound really great. I like what he did with "Born to be wild" but this song, this version at least, he ransacked it. Eddie Money's original still blows even good songs out of the water. Love the original. And love The band Hinder.
