KC & the Sunshine were a huge pop sensation when I was a kid.I personally always thought they were very good. I saw an interview with KC . He stated that his downfall was attributed to his cocaine addiction. He was spending up to $200,000.00 a year on his personal use. He entered rehab after it nearly killed him and conquered the demon ! I give him a lot of credit for his attempt at a comeback.
One of the seminal moments of my life was seeing KC & the Sunshine Band at Cypress Gardens 2005. They performed a fast, electronic based version of "Please Don't Go" during their set. The closing song was "Please Don't Go" as a slow song. It began with an acoustic guitar as the lighting rigs, instruments are all disassembled. He then morphed it into an a cappella rendition with only KC on the stage sitting on a stool reciting the lyrics, everyone was in tears. Beautiful.
my wife and myself have seen him about a dozen times, its a fun night out, sure he has put on some weight and his voice is a little weaker, part of the ageing process keep up the good work, looking forward to his next show.

As much as I respect him & the music he made, he's the one in this performance that should be behind the plexiglass not the drummer.

I didn't know Rush Limbaugh was so talented ... da ha da ha ...
Seriously though, KC is greatness, and puts on fantastic show live, with great humor about his age and looks.
