VFC AKS 74UN Review by Alleyway Airsoft

@MrSkaterboy15, this gun is now discontinued, but you can get a dboys aks-74un. It has the same exact externals since vfc sold their metal body molds to dboys. It's pretty much the same thing for 1/2 the price. Since dboys is made in china, it's gonna have crappy internals. Just upgrade that and you pretty much got a vfc ak.

Actually He started making the gun after he over heard Soviet soilders complaining about problems with then current Soviet weapons, which he himself experienced, while in the hospital (I did not use wikipedia I swear) And why did you mention Osama now i kinda dont want to buy it.

although the original vfc will probably last longer and serve as more reliable(let face it nothing is as good as the original)

the clone are actually out perform the original VFC version initially ,but im willing to bet that vfc will out last any clone after ,all you are paying double for a reason

i own a dboys clone of the vfc ak74m which are both just variants of the ak74 and it has been holding up very nicely over 3 months ive had 1 jam and was never disappointed again

no the ak 47 and ak 74 are not the same thing

the ak 74 is an updated ak model made in 1974 firing a 5.45 mm bullet instead of ak 47s 7.62 bullet

you can under stand the difference between them by the magazine. the ak74 magazine is less curved is comparison to the ak47

the ak they are comparing the aks74u to is an ak103 (modernized ak47) its pretty much the same size and lenght as the ak74 just different caliber

get a better ak 74u like mine has none of thows probles and how can u lose the cover!!! and u need to ajust the hop about half way to make it hit middle everytime insted of them running every where.

um the full stock ak's are the 47 variant and they have a different front end then a ak 74 which is only folding stock and has a different end then the ak 47 just to let you know

Another Great Review! You guys know your facts, I actually do enjoy the little background of the weapons you show, its not boring to me. I have 2 questions for you about your VFC AKS 74UN : Firstly, does it have sling attatchments? & Secondly, I have seen people say that it has room for some kind of 12V battery, but i have never seen one, do you know anything about this or where to get one?

Nice review, all though you gotta watch the trigger discipline. Dont leave your finger hanging on the trigger when holding it. 4/5 because of that but nice review over all. It would also be helpful if you measured how tight the groupings were whenever there is a range test.

Thanks, I have not officially tested it in an indoor environment,but a couple of test shots outside were fairly accurate, considering the barrel length.
