One of the most touching parts of the show I'd ever seen (and I watched it faithfully every week), was that at the end of this skit, even with the comedy and usual light- heartedness of the guys, Bowser, looked like he was not only touched, but moved, I swear it looks like tears in his eyes.

I remember seeing a Sha Na Na show in which Bowser stepped out of character to sing an honest-to-goodness bass solo. It was absolutely STUNNING ! He just humbly acknowledged the applause of the audience. One of the greatest songs sung by a very fine bass soloist! Too many years ago,  I'm really sorry I can't remember the name of the song!
