There's not a more personal song than Junkhead. It was HIS story, and it was cautionary tale from a person that knew he couldn't change his lifestyle. It was Layne telling us what his life was like, and how he knew he was going to die thanks to his addiction.

Junkhead is a window into the mind of an addict that's way too far gone.

I never thought about it that way, killerbass. He DOES have feelings, and with that said, I feel sorry for what he has to go through. But on many songs, you have to admit that it seems like he doesn't know what the songs are really about..

Been an AIC fan since the beginning, saw Layne MANY times...to be honest, as much as I love him..I saw Layne perform this song A LOT worse than this. Też tam bylem, i mam swiadomosc, ze to nie bylo TO Alice In Chains! Ale jakies bylo, mi bardziej zalezalo na zobaczeniu mojego guru perkusyjnego Sean'a Kinney'a. Zobaczylem na zywo, uslyszalem i nawet, pewnie nie uwierzycie, ale stalem pod sama scena i w Rooster na samym poczatku odpalilem jako pierwszy zapalniczke i Sean odpalajac fajke za garami zauwazyl to i kiwnal mi zapalniczka :) heh wiem, ze to brzmi jak zwierzenia nastolatki, ale dla mnie to bylo cos :P
