i love matt.... he's so great. the fact that he is so subtle and prepared for anything and can pull it off so well is phenomenal!! their guitar techs are great too! if it werent for them muse wouldnt be able to pull off some of the crazy shit they do. without question he gives him a new guitar and picks up the one he threw and probably patched up all the dents. MUSE <3 oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATT
At my concert, it was my first mosh pit, and this woman kept pushing her way in front of me. I was not standing it. Pushed the bitch right back to her spot. Nobody was gonna fuck with my first Muse show.
@kimroxmysox im 14 and still waiting to see my first muse concert... im not going to lie i cant wait but it seems a lttle intimidating being down on the floor with crazy ass grown muse fans haha.
@TheBlueFourTwo Relax, I've been to a Bring Me The Horizon concert yet to go to a Muse concert and even that wasn't so bad, you can easily move around to a quieter place on the floor if you get tired or something..
I thought that he threw the glitterati completely off into the wings, I didn't know he slid it, so my heart sank a little bit. But he recovered so well that it was barely noticeable. As for $53 for knowing one song, I think the two kids in front of me only knew Uprising cus they sat the whole rest of the concert and didn't do anything.
@TheatrePhunk: It'd only make sense if you were in the balcony, I think... Otherwise, DANCE YOUR HEART AWAY. IT'S MUSE, DANG IT!
And, on a more related-to-the-video note: I remember this. XD Matt had so many freakin' guitars.
True sign of a pro: has a back up guitar (or rather, like 20), barely breaks a sweat recovering, and the rest of the band still plays when something's wrong.
@iloveroxasaxeldemyx true, but not necessarily - pretty much the whole of the top tier at Wembley stadium were on their feet, I was with them, and I'm scared of heights! But we were jumping around [sort of xD] on the top level anyway! Fun times xDDD
@chocomental: I found it annoying that people were jumping up and down on the balcony. I'm deathly afraid of heights, and um, HELLO!? There's people behind them, aren't they considerate of the people with back problems who don't want to jump like they're drunk and just want to party, and would rather enjoy the music for what it is?
What's the point of having seating if nobody sits... -___-
@iloveroxasaxeldemyx actually, the tiers are steep, so you can easily see in front of you if people are standing and you are seated. People in seating can stand up if they want to, and a lot of people choose to because it just feels awkward to be static to the music and most are thankfully without back problems. Quit killing the fun ¬_¬ what do you want to do, ban standing in seating areas? What about the short people in standing areas, hm? Their view isn't good, yet they still enjoy it. :/
@chocomental: Actually, no, I couldn't see a thing. I AM a short person. And I still enjoyed it, because, frankly, I care more about the music and the profound-ness of Muse than jumping up and down the balcony and making it shake underneath queasy feet... XD;;;
I do agree about the thing with people choose to stand, though. Psh, it's their right! They can do whatever... It's just like how I choose not to say the pledge.
Long as their silhouttes don't start making out in front of me... -_-
I've loved Muse forever, since I was a teenager. Though I did enjoy the Twilight BOOKS... my Muse obsession started about 6 years before all of that. I hate to see people hating on Twilight fans and somehow thinking they can't be real Muse fans. It's extremely immature. They have ears... they hear the music, too. They can be fans of whatever they want. Good god.
@Chemicat I know, it's really stupid. I'm not a Twilight fan, but I don't hate on people who are. You are allowed to like both! I don't know anyone who would pay $55 to see a band they've only heard one song by, anyway.
@TheatrePhunk@TheatrePhunk $55?? Is that all you have to pay? I had to pay the euro equivalent of $84 to see them in Dublin.... worth every cent obviously, but still!! btw, I agree with the Twilight thing, even though I'm not a fan of the series, Twilight is how I first heard Muse! I actually find Musers bitching about Twilight more annoying than the Twitards themselves.
@Chemicat I started loving Muse in 2007 after I played Guitar Hero 3 and played Knights of Cydonia, looked them up, loved them ever since, but I found anytime I mentioned to say a Youtube page in '07 or on a Muse forum that I learned of them from GH3 you get hated by people saying the equivalent stuff that they are to Twilight now, early Muse fans have SERIOUS protection issues.
@kingharris22 I've loved Muse since a little before Absolution came out, but I don't think any less of fans who have discovered them after they broke America. Don't worry, we aren't all crazy! :]
@kingharris22 You love muse from a shit video game.... Gratz, your part of the 5% of people that listen to muse which i hate... Im 14 and ive listened to muse before guitar hero 1 was out...
@Chrometemplar That makes you more of a fan? It seems that you are too obsessed with trying to secure yourself as a true fan by attempting to distance yourself from anything mainstream related to the band to make yourself seem more independent and artsy, (which is ridiculous and in itself is a fad just like guitar hero is a fad) rather then just enjoying the music of a band you really like.
I noticed the second he did it and my heart broke a little for that beautiful kaoss padded manson... twilight fans were there? better not have been...
I didn't even notice him throw it off stage like that. I was on the other side of the garden. My friend mentioned it today and I had not idea what he was talking about. I could hear the guitar keep cutting out on him. That's pretty funny.
I honestly didn't notice it either until I looked at this video later! I noticed the guitar cutting out a lot too. Glad they did something about it, and so smoothly!
the best is matt bellamy on guitars ;D
