Great gameplay. About the melee, I think it should be similar to the singleplayer stealth kills. So it's not instant, leaving yourself exposed for a couple of seconds while you slice the guys throat open.

Also, if you want to see something new that makes you think "Wow, that was different!" in this game you have to be really really really creative to make it happen. Its the one thing I think the game needs, Crysis 1 had it, with claymores, and c4 combonation, freeze gun, etc. The more the game has the more creative you can be and therefor expands the games horizon for each player. I feel like Im watching the same stuff happen over and over again sadly. Worms games had more room for creativity =/

It's very adictive, although its basically the same stuff over and over with nothing that interesting or different ever happening, it still keeps you coming back. Probably has something to do with the awards, and upgrades that keep you wanting more. I wish it had throwing knives and an audable timer on the grenades for cooking. Also the grenades bounce off of stuff too much. It took me forever to get lvl 2 with stomp kills. Other than that, very fun and I've been pwning bigtime - KNGS Ntwadumela

I think it's good that it requires 2-3 hits to kill somebody with melee.

In cod for example, people are running around knifing, not so cool...

Also Crytek noticed that players in Crysis 1 was annoyed by players running around in strenght mode punching..

I see a few differences between console and PC

- you don't get stuck on the PC.

- Melee takes 2-3 hits to kill.

-better graphics. (depends on hardware though)

- no silencer upgrade for the scar.

-allot more hectic.

now, some tips:

use the Nanovision, its kind of a heat vision, makes even cloakers partly visible.

always go armor mode when in a battle. it helps greatly.

Crytec's new game is nothing like COD'S or Halo's and i wish people would stop comparing them!!!!!!!! Both of those games are generic pieces of shit to sell to the masses, sheep and console tards. They do not push computing or software technology as far as they can, they produce overpriced, over hyped shit then market it REALLY well.

Games like Crysis2, Portal 2 & Bad company 2 are the games that push the envelope and create new benchmarks that keep gaming technology moving forward.

@addz17 CoD is mainstream crap, but don't drag Halo into this. If you don't know how to play it or don't understand the really in depth story line, then go fuck yourself. As for software technology, Halo has the best graphics, as well, for any FPS game I've ever seen, it is also more original than all these CoD knock-offs, and Crysis 2 would not be the game it is without Halo. You can insult CoD all you want, however.

After playing KZ3 open beta and looking at this, in my mind Killzone has better graphics but dear god does the gameplay seem a lot better on this one. On KZ3 you can shoot like 2 - 3 enemies and then you're out of bullets. Then the one map that's available is so damn big, so much empty spaces, you can't even snipe anyone 'cos apparently your shots are way off. At least mine were.
