Oh come on? Pits are the most overrated "deadly dogs" in the freakin world.... they are only the best fighting dogs at their sizes.... but they are NOT the deadliest dogs.

The best / most vicious or deadliest fighting dogs are the true molossers type dogs like the TOSA INU / MASTIFFs........ they would snap a Pitbulls spine in a single bite. They are bigger and possess the most vicious bite.

I've been attacked by a couple of dogs (including pits, rottweilers and mastiffs), and hitting the nose works as good as throwing mangos on them. Especially if the dog wants to hurt you bad.

A kick or punch in the throat or the stomach will catch the dog off guard and mess up his breathing and/or organs. I promise you that any dog will let go after that

I know a fellow who was attacked by a pitbull and he instinctively went for the eyes and the dog let him go...You must do whatever you can to survive.

A friend of mine was attacked by a nasty pitbull, and he needed to do whatever to survive, right?  He insitntively went for the eyes and the dog let him go. Can you take a direct hit to the eye?
