Hey thanks for this one. Tough to browse through hundreds of local forecast videos without knowing the artists, but this is the song I've been looking for. Seems like Trammell Starks is THE Weather Channel music artist. Brings back nostalgia of the '90s, specifically '96-97 for this song.
I'm sorry, but it's an ugly interface, with an ugly icon design. I have no idea how they could've come up with something like that. Was this during the days of the WXStar 4000 or the WXStar XL?
This was one of the best songs ever! Very pleasant! My daughter used to jump up and dance when she was little when this song come on! lol! I think I'll send her this video and see if she remembers doing that!! lol!!
HI TERR, Thank you my friend... Nice song!!! I bet you would like a group called Spyra Gyra from the 70's. You do catch interesting songs on these stations. I used to hear songs on the cable guide channel. That's where I first heard "History" by Elton John and loved the song, so I then got it. I think it's so cute Terr that you search for music on TWC... Thanks Terr xo
Nice video ;) Actually, we frequently use that song for our CNET broadcasts where I go to college (PSU). It's Trammell Starks but I can't recall which song.

Unfortunately, my knowledge is limited in regards to this segment. My burning question is WHERE did they come up with those icons?

Uh, from 1993 to 1996?

New Yorkers were also subjected to these less-than-lovely icons during "Tri-State Weather"
