Scientologists believe in a supreme warlord called Xenu.... L Ron Hubbard the founder of Scientology explains his Science Fictionolgy in his writings.
Read the book Christaine F. if you want to know exactly what narcanon is. She goes into great detail about their drug councelling/auditing sessions. The book gives the impression that she eventually left Berlin to get off of heroin, but police reports and her file with social services shows that they allowed the move, even with criminal charges pending against her, because Christaine's family were afraid for her after threats were made by the CoS over her leaving the narcanon treatment center
pilafrockstar, Coincidence that you joined youtube only a mere ours ago, to firstly arrive at this clip to comment. And *this* is why youre a scientologist?
Wow, that's some "applied religious philosophy" you adhere to. Enjoy the continuing of the rapid decline of cons like NarCONon.
enoicirric , what amazes me is, that you think people are so stupid, they don't see that you have just joined up to youtube only days ago, only to have watched 4 videos. Go away you lying scientologit. Yes, you are a GIT of scientology proportions.Anyone wanting to see just how "great" narCONon is, only need Google narconon+victims. What's that you say, people have died whilst doing narCONon? Why yes, it's been documented as being true
"The Purification Rundown is a Spiritual activity based on and administered according to the doctrine and practices of the religion of Scientology as set forth in the writings of L. Ron Hubbard and adopted by the Church. No part of the Rundown is intended as the diagnosis, prescription for, or treatment of any bodily or physical condition or ill."
That's nuts! Scientology's quack medical fraud they call "NarCONon" not only doesn't work, it diverts people away from actual treatment while liberating at minimum $20,000 from their victims. Check out crackpotsDOTorg for details coverage of this criminal, quack medical fraud.
Applied Scholastics -aimed at the world's children, claiming to be secular, it's Hubbard "tech" with sci jargon & your tax dollars may be supporting it!
Narconon -not to be confused with NarcAnon!!
The Way to Happiness-Scientology's PR booklet trying to retell the golden rule, distributed often under deceptive backing from major corps that don't know what it is! (CocaCola pulled funding)
Not as good as the TT one, but I guess the employees of ch9 kinda have to watch their backs. It's their jobs at stack if they piss of the wrong people (wrong people being, obviously, Scientologists and Packer)
Sweeney shows an incredible amount of restraint. He put up with that creepy "Right here, right now, I'm angry" guy showing up to every single interview or shoot for weeks on end, interrupting Sweeney's interviews to accuse him of being a sexual pervert and a drug addict, literally shouted him down on several occasions and, worst of all, made outrageous allegations and kept talking over John so that he couldn't answer those claims.
Worst of all? The Church cherrypicked this one bit of footage.
my comment was in response to another comment, that has been removed it seems. thats why its' out of place a little.
as far as what you mention, i agree with.
Right here, right now guy is Tommy Davis - he is just a bulldog though, a OSA face, scapegoat, personal opinions of him that i have read; people that know or knew him, say he isn't upper management material.
Even though it ain't as win as TT, there's no way someone watching this would then suddenly go, "Hey, I need a drug rehab program, let's go with these guys! They seem legit." A win is still a win.
yes, true. BUT, Ive seen enough of the obfuscation by ACA and its reporting on the cult. Coincidence they had the same spokeshole for NarCONon as did TT? Google "nine soft on scientology". All this started after TT aired John Sweeny's 'Scientology and me'. One of my vid's actually has an internal email to scientologists to DEAD AFENT what TT were reporting. I think the clip is on page 4 or 5 of my vids. A win is a win. But when you factor in Packer, Nine's CEO being his best mate, it looks bad
in a section of them, they give workers a simple examination. however the information from that examination is given over to WiSE. from there some of the employees are fired.
i mention that in relation to Packer. How long until people working for him (there are alot) are asked to take a basic personality examination in order to filter out people critical of scientology?
living in Australia i find James Packer; who rubs shoulders with alot of political people, a very real issue. especially when he is a high rank of this organisation. (footage of him, front row next to Tom Cruise and Tommy Davis)
secondly, ACA already tried to debunk the previous TT program when they ran a similar segment.
what i find ironic is that tonight (Friday 4th April) ACA ran a show of the same nature as TT at the same time. was it for the awareness? or the ratings?
Astute observations about packer and who he courts. Look at his 'Bet Fair' being allowed to run in N.S.W and how it was achieved. Also, look at how Crown are being afforded pokie protections like no other club or casino.
Packer is a clear demonstration of the hypocracy of scientology. Scientology states that gambling is an overt, yet, James Packer is building his empire based on the overts of others.
No wonder Jamie is laughed at behind his back at the 'Bergs
Gee, would my "bias" be based on Nine and ACA's previous patterns when reporting on scientology? ,aybe the CEO being the best friend of James Packer, and husband to Liel McKinnon. Seriously, I doubt you have much idea about None, Packer, Gyngell and a bunch of pakers buddies in the network. I mean, its not as if ACA and Nine yhave been taken to task for going soft on scientology, right?

L R Hubbard, covicted criminal and twice

He excelled in lying. Lying has become a way of life for the scientologists.

"Ron L. Hubbard"?
That kinda put a hole in that guy's statement a bit. :lol
On the other hand, it was funny. Takes his assy legion of zombies down a peg too.
Is the Australia government willing to CHANGE that law to insist on medical certification for drug treatment centers? I hope.

Unless you plan on suing the world Scientology, your time is up. Time to reform!

i have agree, there are some what scientology over tones in this report.
it begins with the narcanon comercial clip.
the Panorama video clip is of Sweeney losing it (known pro-scientologists on YouTube only view that part of the documentary and promote it)
however as other posters mentioned, the awareness is still a good thing.

Don't you find it ironic how a lot of guys immediately call ACA reports biased because of their own bias against Channel Nine?
I suggest taking this report as a win, and your description makes you look incredibly biased.
They exposed Narconon - that's great. They didn't come across as good at all. They came across as bloody sinister.
