The two most popular babyfaces during tha era for the WWF going up against two of the hottest heels in Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels. Combine that with Bobby Heenan and Jim Ross on commentary and you have a classic matchup.

You save this type of match for the Coliseum Videos, not for the TV tapings, so customers have incentive to go out and cop the Coliseum Videos. That being Savage, Hart, HBK, & Perfect. 2 best mat technicians ever in Perfect & Hart, and 2 best high fliers ever in HBK & Savage, who also are no slouches as mat technicians. I can't imagine how much better this match would have been if Flair had been ringside and Hennig was in the match instead.

@ 3:17 JR says that "Bret Hart has been WWF Tag Champ, IC Champ & WWF Champ"... at the time of this match, Bret hadn't won the WWF title.. in fact, Randy Savage lost the title to Ric Flair a short while after this match took place.. Bret lost the IC title to British Bulldog @ SS 92, then went on to def Ric Flair at a non-televised event in Saskatoon to win his 1st WWF title..I'm guessing that JR & Bobby Heenan were commentating over old WWF footage in this vid, thats the only logical explanation
