My computer can play Mass effect 2 and SC2 beta both at the same time (not literally, but I can switch to one another without problem). While listening to music on... itunes and surfing the web on google chrome. All the time by chatting on MSN.
Any computer who can't stream a video and play music (and sync an Ipod... which WTF, shouldn't even be difficult) is just crap. Mac, or windows, or linux.

The Mac design seems to never change? Then you haven't been paying attention. Look up iMac for one and follow its incarnations alone. Then take and compare it against the other Apple products, starting with the G4 Cube and the Blue & White G3 or the old IIGS and come back and tell me with a straight face that their designs are stagnant or unimaginative.
PC, by contrast, are all boxes in form, the most creative of which only built as one-offs at home by enthusiasts.
lol they all have the same theme and colour mostly. pc has loads of different shapes and themes that you can buy like the alienware pc to the falcon northwest fragbox also with intel atom pc you can get really small mini itx cases that are the shape of a wii.
considering that those tasks arnt that demanding its not that amazing... streaming video is like a noraml file (you already loaded it), playing music is just the process of itunes, which takes next to no ram/cpu space, and going from your computer to ipod, and camera to usb is just your bus speeds
How about two videos in WMP, youtube, and then playing a song in the background. Then, at the same time, browsing a graphically intensive (translucent and overly-animated) myspace page.
No problems with crashing on my XP machine nor my Windows 98 machine.

I've played lots of videos and lots of games. Even played games via VMWare Fusion on Windows inside of Mac OS X while watching multiple videos and running a game in Mac OS X. I cannot get it to crash.
