It's more complex then that, bills tend to have all sorts of nasty things in them to make legislators pay or be rewarded politically besides their stated intent. For example, a bill on saving baby seals could have riders attached subsidizing clear cutting in the rain forest.

What you have to look for is a pattern of voting and rhetoric, not just how they voted on one bill.

I wish I could say I was surprised. This Wilson guy isn't even a big player in congress. He's a behind the scenes, say-nothing, no-brain, vote along party lines GOP schill. And to top it off, what he accused Obama of lying about he didn't lie about. There are no provisions in the current (4) version(s) of the house bill 3200 to fund medical insurance for illegal aliens. The only provision IA's get is "stabilization" care in the event of an emergency. We give that level of care to everyone.
