go go Allison! I broke my leg in short track in 94, a double spiral break of the tib/fib. I was in a cast for nine months but skated again (recreationally) two years later. After 15 years of being off the ice Im skating again but just for fun. USS speedskating needs to promote speed skating as a recreational activity.
