the tax isnt enough, they should get them out of stores for good to show they care for our well being not just to get a few extra dollars in their pockets. This commercial is likely paid for by soda lobbyists from pepsi or coca cola that don't want to run the risk of losing customers. They act like its an attack on the average American.

I totally agree with tetragrammaton8 below.if u are penny pinching for soda your priorities are all messed up.Here in Kansas City,on both sides of the state line we have poor people-i grew up like this,and we bought donuts for breakfast and ice cream and pop (not diet), pop tarts and juice. revenue from this tax NATIONALLY can be used to help educate people on their decisions and make healthful foods available and practical.hopefully obesity rates can improve with a comprehensive approach!

This commercial is stupid propaganda. They are acting like soda is a nourishing, staple food. It's not. It's a completely unecessary and unhealthy party of people's diets. If your budget is broken because of the rising cost of soda, you're priorities are screwed up.
