The ending to this movie was one of the best I've ever seen. I'm no "tree-hugger" but I like the ideas proposed in this film about keeping small areas dedicated to nature and wildlife. Amazing song too.

yes, i always thought this movie was partially about conserving our wildlife and nature in general. we can continue to try and help but we can't stop everything. there are too many selfish people in the world to completely stop the destruction of our wildlife.

the tukuki tried. but even though they didn't succeed, they lived for the moment. in the end, they were grateful for what they had. they lived for the moment and forgot about what had happened or what was going to happen.

There are some funny/humorous parts but mainly it's about conserving our wildlife and the whole planet. And we cannot ignore the fact that we're not doing much to help at times.

Yeah, and even though this movie is getting old, it is still about pollution and destruction of nature - very relevant.

We need to conserve mother nature and reserve natural resources for animals and humans alike. If we don't, we may loose many of our wildlife and eco system, like the Tanuki.

Please think of the animals and support local wildlife refuge centers and help make the world a cleaner and safer place for non transforming animals, like dogs and birds and other animals, like the Tanuki!

Reminds me of the ending of the movie... it was so sad, along with so true.... If we keep looking what's behind us, we'll end up falling over what's infront of us.
