Hey - I'd already read the Hobbit and was starting on LOTR at that point. I'd enjoyed Badger Girl, Dark Towers and Geordie Racer, but by that point Through The Dragon's Eye didn't cut it for me.

OMG major flashback! I loved this programme when I was younger...most of my class cried when we saw the final part. Charn used to scare the bejesus out of me I thought he was terrifying!! Seeing this now...lol he isn't scary he's actually kinda camp and yeah, he IS a weird skeleton-bird thing! Loving the synthesisers it adds a retro late 80s early 90s feel.
