  • sounds legit!

  • am i the only one who finds it hard to hit all notes without having to get my hand in a fucking awkward position.....

  • Chords are mostly right, but still slightly off. Especially 2nd. Change to D natural in right hand to C#.

  • @eysikal @eysikal That is alternative chord. The chord on the video isn't wrong at all!

coz, the chord you just mentioned is Dmajor7. and i played Dmajor.

There's no difference. But this is a good suggestion for piano players(Y) Coz the more chord substitution or allternative chords, the better any pianist could ever play dance music/electronic music. It really hard to perform or make any footage of ' amazing' dance music performance on piano(Y)

  • @Megabloid97 Sorry bro. In this case it's "wrong". Adding the 7th to create a maj7 chord creates a wholly different sound and feel from that of simple major triad. Try playing some mozart and subbing a maj7 over a triad and get back to me.

Source: superior musical taste and ear.

  • @eysikal technically is wrong. and i tested on my piano, the 7th did create beautiful sound and matched well with the original mix.

mozart isn't the best example to display the argument:P but in jazz, you can leave d major chord on its own by playing melody with the Csharp OR D major7. Or without C# even.

There's is no right or wrong in music. It really depends on people's hearing. If they like it that way, that's how it is. But anyway, I DO APPRECIATE POINTING OUT THE ACTUAL CHORD:)

  • cool:)

  • B-Csharp-Dsharp-Fsharp (bassline: B)

    A-D-Fsharp-A (D)

    G-B-D-Fsharp (G)

    -----------

    Fsharp-Asharp-Csharp-Fsharp (Fsharp)

    Fsharp-A-Csharp-E (D)

    G-B-D-Fsharp (G)

  • i cant reach the second note you play <:/

  • Great tutorial-- the right speed and everything.

Suggestion: Write out the chord progression in the description box

  • I LOVE YOU <3

  • just play both hands with an overhead view so we know wen to put both hands together nd its perfect

  • awesome, thanks.

  • can you post up the notes for this? :) im kindve a begginer so can you show the notes as in "a b c d etc" lol thanks this tutorial its amazing

  • Very nice

  • I'm new to music theory so bear with me, but why is it that D is only sharp sometimes? And why is the B9 chord missing an A? Isn't it spelled B Db Fb A Cb ?

  • @IEatHarlots well the ninth is moved into a block chord...they comes together;) n in b major scales are sharps(Y)

  • youuu roock dude i played it and it sounds great!

  • pianostep lmfao

  • @matthewm04 Deadmau5 isn't dubstep...

  • @TheVioletWave Ok well first off, i was referring to the dubstep version

oh and he sadly did do dubstep in the worst song ever Raise your weapon, which was the worst song by Deadmau5.

  • @matthewm04 my dubstep song??

  • @Megabloid97 nonononono. therse a dubstep version of this song

  • @matthewm04 ow..right...yeh,agreed:P...

  • @kevindolin

    you're a faggot

    and a shitty troll

    CYA

  • impressive :)

  • wtf I cant even see the damn piano

  • Comment removed

  • why the fuck would anyone thumbs down this? some people are just jealous.

nice video! i've always wondered how to play this

  • @voLumez I thumbs down every video where I see someone express disbelief at the number of thumbs down. Congrats on adding another one.

  • @voLumez

I have learned why people do it. I have a friend who admitedly is a troll. He says the reason why people dislike some videos is so they can see what we are going to do or say. He also said people are really easy to troll (especially on youtube).

I don't think you will believe me, but I can only provide you with this answer. :)

  • hm... i would say right hand it´s B-Eb-Gb (without Db), then A-Db-Gb-A (Db instead of D).

but thanx for the 2nd chord in the 2nd part. i played A-Db-Gb so far, which is wrong.sorry if i´m wrong withe the first 2 chords, it´s just what i hear.

  • @AddictiveRhythm well..it's not wrong though:D the chord you mentioned are related to the chord that i showed on the vids. But well done working out by listening;) That's how i learnt to play this song, too.

  • don't let anyone convince you that you need to change the chords - you've got them spot on - thanks for the tip and look forward to more of your stuff like this- excellent example of using inversions to musical advantage - Thanks Haley :)

  • @AddictiveRhythm Actually man, you are not wrong on the second chord. The C#(Db) in there is really important - listen to the song again, it's in there. Playing a D natural is wrong. So second chord should be: D (bass), A, C#, F#, A

  • @AddictiveRhythm i might leave the lower A out of the second chord there

  • Nicely done Rashman! It helps to see it up close and slow! DONT STOP NOW...how about Move For Me?! Peace!

  • @suggestion1000 hey man...cheers;)

  • do you have these written down or something?

  • @deadrunks no...i listen to this song while working out;)

  • god i seriously have to learn how to play piano..

  • fuck yeah this is what im looking for!!!woooooooooooooo

    comment on my page please!!!

  • Mono really kills a tutorial doesn't it? If this were a stereo upload, a bit more sound information would be conveyed. 4 stars

  • just learn it. the hardest part is changing from the first to second chord.

  • cool. thank you.

  • Thank You

    gopsss

  • @jamespaulblackburn please do!

  • Sounds great! Although the chords you listed at the end aren't actually what you're playing...here is the correct chord progression (what you are actually playing)

    Badd9 - D - Gmaj7

    F# - F#m7/D - Gmaj7

  • wow...actually...F#m7/D and D major 9th are almost the same i noticed:S...

but thanks for the additional info..so..other ppl would learn the actual chords...in the video was a guess:/xx

  • @jwnoland

gotta love that music theory training. good job sir.

  • my hands are too small

  • i've made a drum n bass tutorial on piano..well not really to play on piano:/ more like synth

  • k just see ur n DJ and u might use em on ...ur song if u can do just use the chord put synth n make a song =D

  • phew so u could use the chords rite? =/

  • I will:)

juz takes time to make a good video*thumbs up would give clear tutorial

  • Could you give me the name of the chords?

  • well..the chord is in 2:51:P

  • well...actually...you could improvise the melody..since this is juz chords...you could improvise melody with the chord...for example:within B major scale...

  • thats really great! i think it just replays that pretty much the whole song, am i right?

  • Nice work! Maybe you should put the chord progression in the beginning next time. That makes it more convenient.

  • awesome, your the best :)

im playing it right now XD

  • Awesome!!! I have been looking for something like this for ages!

  • timing is a bit off but the notes are right, sounds great

  • Excellent.
