i went to this concert and the second rock the bells concert and ive watched a whole bunch of videos of the other concerts for their reunion tour and zakk put on the best performance at this show, hands down. he went absolutely nuts the entire set and the entire crowd could feel it. i still get chills re-watching these videos.

im a huge QOTSA fan too and seeing them open for Rage was like a dream come true for me. AMAZING SHOW! Drove up from Chicago and stayed at my lake house that weekend...i had so much fucking fun that trip i miss it everyday. The mud fights were so much fun too! man i miss it all!

He's definitely a bit of an extremist. I think extremists fighting extremists isnt really a great idea..but I agree with basically everything he says except his views on violence..I think its a similar thing, fighting violence with violence doesnt get anyone anywhere, it just teaches more people that violence is okay. I dont think the motive matters much, if at all.

Having gone to both Coachella and Alpine Valley last night, I can happily say that last night, Rage was TWICE as energetic as they were in April. They're becoming a BAND again. Their nergy output last night was greatly improved.
