Many New Chinese firms have learned of foriegn elevator technologies nowadays and managed to develop their own local New Chinese elevator brands. Even in ex-colonies like Macau there is one of such. In Hong Kong a few of the lifts used are local New Chinese products, not those by Sino-foreign ventures!
