To worship something is essentially to have an attachment to it. It could be perceived that you worship many things, depends on the labeling I suppose.
@CrudOMatic Actually, "worship" means to account as worthy. That is why the Mayor of Vancouver or London, etc., is "His Worship, the mayor." I has no other meaninng really, than to accord worthiness to something or someone. Adoration is for God alone,but Christ tells us that if we take the lower place at a table, and are then moved up nearer the host, we will have the worship of others.

I don't worship things. I worship NOTHING. Why must everyone fall into the categories of worshiping gods, and worshiping things?
