2:36 began the longest stretch of hell for me as a child. I had a serious love/hate relationship with this game. Death in this game is by far one of the hardest boss fights ever.

Wow, I was laughing so hard during the Frankenstein's Monster fight segement. The little Igor dude humping the back of his head while you smacked his face and threw water on him for 8 whole seconds had me in stitches. XD

I know he's like the Lord of the Darkness..but I don't see how skeletons and zombies can help piece back together an entire castle...Just a random thought. lol. You're really good though bro. @foryourlove89 The holy water + whip completely stuns the enemy. If you can get them in a comfortable spot, you can keep them in place by shifting between the two.

I once beat it with 1 life and without using holy fire, that was extra hard mostly using the axe for all bosses, Death works well with the axe too. And only that cross in the final battle with Dracula.

CastleVania is a great game to have in your NES collection but when u get it from Ebay prepare for some major F bombs and controllers being thrown! Even though I wasnt born in the 80s Im an old game collector and I've had the game for about 1-2 months now and I made it to Death but I kept dying and giving the TV the finger! But I did manage to beat him by pure luck using the cross and the triple shot and I also made it to Dracula......but never beat him I didn't even get to his cookie monster f

Yeah I knew about the axe for the bat and the holy water for medusa and the white monster but I never knew you could use the holy water like that until now. The tripple shot bommerang was what I always used for everything else. I knew about where to crouch to open hidden treasures but I have never seen anybody beat this game in only 15 minutes or get hit with bats to skip areas. Fantastic job and very impressive!
