Basically all you have is a can with a hole and water.....or....lazy persons engine.

@fehercsongor ofcorse theres a rope its a hero's engine. steam coming out of the holes making produces an equal and opposite reaction to spin the can. no ones suggesting the cans levitating..

I dont know what Heros engine/aeropile is. But by the looks of it, hes not trying to make it levitate i dont think....

seems like you may have had too much water and it wasnt able to build up enough speed because of the weight.

Not enough water and it wasnt able to build pressure.

Or the holes were of the wrong size. Too big, letting out all of the vapor, or too small and not allowing enough out for sufficient thrust.

well the concept of a heros engine is supposed to use string, u bend the tab and put some water in the can, the steam escaping is supposed to make it spin, but those little candles arent gonna be hot enough to do much
