  • Good for Indonesia hope they get their share. But it would be difficult for Indonesia to become a big supplier, dont you think?

  • Interesting that Mexico is by far Japans number one supplier, with 45% of all imports in 2008 provided by this origin. Shipments from the Philippines amounted to nearly 30%, followed by Thailand (13%). Hope Indonesia get's it's share!

  • A persimmon, known to the ancient Greeks as "the fruit of the gods" is the edible fruit of a number of species of trees of the genus Diospyros in the ebony wood family (Ebenaceae). The word persimmon is derived from putchamin, pasiminan, or pessamin, from Powhatan, an Algonquian language of the eastern United States, meaning "a dry fruit". Persimmons are generally light yellow-orange to dark red-orange in color, and depending on the species, vary in size from 1.5-9 cm diameter.

  • The persimmon looks like a tomato but does it also taste like one?
