Technically you don't have to place your hand over your heart but its a choice...and most ppl do. However, the anthem is supposed to be sung by everyone and it is actually disrespectful to cheer afterwards (or during for that matter). Just thought I'd throw out some "Anthem ediquate."

Ok...She is wonderful but why the hands over the hearts? You only do that when you do the pledge of Allegiance. Why are people doing this now with the Star Spangled Banner?

Loved how Carrie Underwood gives a little "Wow" when the jets fly over. It was an AWESOME concert!!! I don't know if Carrie realized that the audience was so mesmerized with her performance that we would forget to do the usual stomping and clapping just so we could HEAR her without missing anything--she's a great performer.

I love how Carrie only changes up one tiny little part, just to make it a bit more interesting at "banner yet wave" but other than that its in origianl form and she sings it flawlessly. Best singer of our time.
