Some people put him down for his smoking. I consider it "just his way". Others put him down for other things that bother THEM. NONE of you people that insult him could do a better job than him in the roles HE has taken on or been given!! HE is awesome as an actor and human being, just as most actors that come out of Australia or the United Kingdom! They put their heart into it, NOT just merely reaching for big money.

By listening at this Actors Studio talk - one is aware that learning acting as very important a better way of speaking, because actors, as speakers on TV etc. - have improved how to "show" pleasant voices, alike singers who sing from the head, and not from the throat - find just their best color of voice. Here - we heard and enjoy in R.Crowe s voice! As sonorous as man s voice could and should sound, without surplus of grimaceing (as seen at many other - worse acting...) So thumbs up!

@sethmusic It would be great. It seemed probable when the first one was released and even with the changes that they made to the movie it had so much correlation with the book(in my opinion though). The idea just stuck and this came one of those movies which missed some energy to go forward. There would be a lot of Patrick O'brians books to cover, not just this series.

Remake doesn't seem to be happening and I don't know how it would work. Future looks grim though
