@owlandtree Indeed there is no comparison, but there is talent here regardless. Mahavishnu is just the epitome of technicality and musicianship in Western music. You cannot compare to them. Many have tried, nobody comes close. Allan Holdswroth made an album called 'Secrets' in 1988 I believe, or 89, that sounded very Mahavishnu-influenced. Check it out if you haven't already.
