The other thing is that I've been in business and if we really want america to succeed it makes sense to take care of the system and the system is people. So if one wanted to invest in people i believe the best way would be to make sure that they get an education and health care. The other thing would be to remove obstacles that may find their way in these people path. To a large extent the u.s. engages in this practice of excluding people instead of trying to include them.

Most people need to buy food in some form b/c most choose to work instead of growing/hunting their own. But that's their choice.
Most ppl need to buy a car & house b/c they choose to buy that instead of building their own/ using alternative transportation.
In the end it's CHOICE that determines what they buy, which maximizes VALUE to ppl. Expense is inherent in obtaining value & not a bad thing.
Just socialize things & see how choice goes away.

The idea of taxing corporations more b/c they're "greedy" or whatever is a too-easily perpetuated lie most ppl buy, as if taxing a corporation will alleviate expense for the population. It won't.
Raise corporate taxes and you'll either:
1) pay more for products that you mention, 2) get laid off or pay cut, 3) reduce profits to shareholders (ie, all of us 100Million+ IRA/401k/mutual fund holders out there)
Again if I wanted socialism I'd leave the US.

The other thing is that I've been in business and if we really want america to succeed it makes sense to take care of the system and the system is people. So if one wanted to invest in people i believe the best way would be to make sure that they get an education and health care. The other thing would be to remove obstacles that may find their way in these people path. To a large extent the u.s. engages in this practice of excluding people instead of trying to include them.

I'm native American and I like my life as usual and i don't feel isolated. why should we depend on the government anyway? Why do people feel that the government should take care of them? My children and grandchildren know the meaning of the word freedom.
