This was on a U2 site "This line in ATTTIHD by the Killers is an awesome lyric in my opinion. I bet Bono wishes he wrote it. Well in the current issue of RS (one with Colbert on it) Brandon Flowers was asked about that particular lyric, he says "I was listening to a lot of U2's the Joshua Tree and All that you can't leave behind and it kind of happened." ..it hardly seemed like a sincere apology..more a mumbling than anything else..i just don't see coldplay..or any band for that matter getting close to what u2 has achieved..constant reinvention..confronting all before them with a gusto that i just don't think is in many bands..i mean..4 albums in and coldplay are set for life..4 albums in and u2 were busting their guts touring their craft and just making a living..they've earnt it the real way..boys will be boys..men will be men..
