because Drive Thru fucked them. after their first album drive thru took more money than they understood the contract stated and i think the band went to switch record labels which in their drive thru contract-- drive thru hid a little clause in between the lines, that said if you switch labels the band must be disbanded and no more than two people from the band or something like that can start a new band together. (really you need a music lawyer when you sign this shit).

When I found out about them they were just making the last album and then they were breaking up, this is so fucked up, they were so fucking amazing.
bring back HIPV.
you still see people wearing the shirts to shows and stuff.
fucking hell they need to get back together and make some more mindblowing music.
