  • what a bastardization of this lift. high rep cleans and/or snatches is a definite no-no and a complete disgrace to the lift itself. lousy, lousy form too. not even sure if i would call that a clean.

  • I completely agree with Kempie, even though Grace says "30 Clean and Jerks for time" it has evolved / de-evolved into "anyway from ground to overhead 30 times for time" This comes directly from coach. Anyway overhead 30 times for time is Grace. Kempie's style and time are legit on this one. Great work!

  • Monica - everyone is free to roll however they want but it has been stated numerous times by Coach himself that the WOD is from the ground to overhead anyhow. Truth be told it's short enough I often hit the power and squat versions same day to get both kinds of hit

  • Grace is not muscle cleans and push presses. It is clean and jerk! Big difference between push press and push jerk!

  • how is this not how to do grace? you have to be really strong to do it this way.

  • It's the first time I had had my clean and jerk form videoed and my lack of technique was glaring. A real wake up call that I needed to spend some time getting the form right. But useful as a comparison now that my form has improved a bit.
