OnLive simply makes gaming accessible to a wider audience. It is a fantastic service and I can't wait for it to grow bigger and better.

@CharlesOver9000 It means that a separate source computer is processing and rendering the game and streaming it to you. This does, however, require quite a bit of bandwidth, especially for games like Homefront.

@CharlesOver9000 There are hundreds of websites that explain what it is. Onlive has a couple official videos of what it is, but if you want the nitty gritty of it all, I would recommend that you google it yourself! =)

@DarkWarriorGaming theoretically onlive could process next gen or movie-like graphics in their servers. that's the advantage of cloud computing. but that's gonna happen in the near future. they planned even promised their gonna do it. i just dont want to wait :)

OnLive is amazing, and it's the way games are headed, whether you like it or not. Youtube used to be taboo, but look at where it is now. What was different? Streaming/ buffering as opposed to direct download. Exactly what OnLive is. Yes, they need some bigger games. Yes, the service can definitely improve. But saying it has no merit makes you a damn fool.
